Dark Heart of the Valley
Taken from his forthcoming Book “Tales from the New Inn” this new show will feature three of the best loved and darkest of Owen’s stories told in the traditional way of the ancient storytellers of old.
These are
1.The Robbers of Penwyllt
2.Garwyn Y Throt
3.John Gethin and the Candle
Set in the town of Ystradgynlais at the turn of the 19th century these tales focus on the comings and goings at a small valley Tavern Called “The New Inn. This little known tap room was once the focus for all sorts of supernatural and otherworldly occurrences as these spine-tingling tales will show.
Lasting approximately 50 minutes this production will create a haunting atmosphere which will scare, unnerve but most of all entertain its audience at this years Edinburgh Fringe festival.
A collection of haunting fairy stories from the Heart of Wales told by a master storyteller.
